Playboy’s October 2009 issue will be vampire-centric. Honestly, what else needs to be said??
Tonight, Fango heard from Gerard McMann (aka G TOM MAC) with said video in tow. Inspired by (and used for) HBO's hit series TRUE BLOOD, "Cry Little Sister (Swamp Version)" is a fresh and bluesy take on the song, and you can check out the full clip below.
Starting Monday, September 14, the track will be available as a digital single via iTunes and CD Baby. The video was helmed by Anthony Cappello with Paolo Cascio as the Director of Photography, and was edited by Phillip Lindsey & Daniela Pistone.
TRUE BLOOD will air its season finale tonight on HBO. From some fresh comments from the cast, click here!

Dark artist Chad Savage, who has been providing artwork to the vampire subculture since the 1980’s, has opened his own Etsy.com shop, where he will be selling original vampiric artwork that he’s created over the last 20 years. Many of these one of a kind drawings were used on magazines, book covers and as book illustrations over the last two decades.
If you’d like to own a small piece of undead history, head over to http://ChadSavage.etsy.com. Check back daily, as Savage plans to dig up, scan and post drawings that haven’t seen the light of day (appropriately enough) for over 10 years. New artwork will be added every day or so.
The current issue of Entertainment Weekly features a number of articles about the current cultural vampire craze, as well as some interesting interviews with vampire fiction authors old and new and the EW list of The Top 20 Greatest Vampires of All Time, which is surprisingly comprehensive in its scope (although once again Fright Night’s Jerry Dandridge can’t get no love!)
The organizers of the pop-culture heavy event contacted FANGORIA this afternoon to share a host of new additions to the guest list, and to dangle the carrot of something very special to be announced on Monday.
Other Media Guests include:
· Michelle Rodriguez - Resident Evil
· Rhona Mitra - Underworld: Rise of the Lycans
· Ray Park - Darth Maul Star Wars: Episode 1, X-Men
· Edward James Olmos - Actor - Battlestar Galactica, Blade Runner
· Kristanna Loken - Actress - Terminator 3, Painkiller Jane

**WE ARE MAKING A MAJOR GUEST ANNOUNCEMENT FOR CHICAGO ON MONDAY, JULY 13th on wizardworld.com. THIS GUEST IS HUGE IN BOTH SIZE AND STATURE. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!**
Reeves recently finished his second draft of the script, which is now set in Reagan-era Colorado, and is currently scouting locations that will maintain the film and book's snowy landscapes. Although he didn't mention when shooting is planned to start (from the sounds of it, it'll probably be this winter if he plans to take advantage of the necessary weather conditions on his location shoots), he stated that the release date is now Fall 2010, as opposed to January 15.
Also, Reeves is working with casting director Avy Kaufman to find the two leads for the film and "vows [the children] will not be aged-up to make the film more of a smoldering 'Twilight'-style romance," so everyone can rest easy tonight.
