A teaser poster for Lionsgate’s upcoming vampire epic DAYBREAKERS has been unleashed (you can check it out below), and an official website for the movie has gone live as well. After bouncing around the schedule for a while, the movie recently settled into a confirmed release date of January 8, 2010.

Written and directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig (the Australian brothers behind UNDEAD), DAYBREAKERS is set in an alternate world where bloodsuckers rule, and follows two vampiric siblings (Ethan Hawke, pictured, and Michael Dorman) with radically different views on how to treat the humans they share the planet with. Willem Dafoe and Sam Neill also star. The official site can be found here; there’s not much to it yet, but you can register for updates.
