Martin V. Riccardo- Director of Vampire Studies – an information center for Vampire fans for over 30 years
Geoff Harkness- The director of the documentary “NATIONAL VAMPIRE”
Sebastiaan T. van Houten - One of the central personalities of the Vampyre/vampire subculture and noted fangsmith. Sebastiaan will also be creating custom fangs in the dealer room during the weekend.
Lori Joffs and Laura Brynne-Cristiano - TWILIGHT Lexicon creators
Steve “Capone” Prokopyfrom “Ain’t it Cool News”.

Weekend events will include TWILIGHT celebrity guest autograph and meet & greet sessions, Photo-op sessions (pose for photos with TWILIGHT celebrity guests), Celebrity guest Q & A’s, panel discussions, a Saturday evening Vampire Costume Ball with music selections by DJ Brianne of Chicago’s underground club scene, a TWILIGHT and vampire merchandise dealers room, and more!

SATURDAY, FEB 7, 7:00 PM The Volturi have graciously invited vampires of all mythologies, archetypes and styles to join them for an evening of pure vampire revelry. Be proud and wear your fangs or simply opt for a more subtle look. Wear any vampire style or vampire costume you love or simply come in casual vampire elegance. This is an evening all about vampires from any era, movie or book, be it the world of Stephenie Meyer, Anne Rice or Bram Stoker. Put your finest touches on your costumes and enter our costume contest to be judged by a panel of vampire experts. Dance like the undead to vampiric music selections by DJ Brianneof Chicago’s very own underground club scene.Cash bar for 21+ with valid ID.

Make-up artist Andrea O’Donnell of Fantasy Faces will be on hand in the venders area with her professional make-up staff. Their expertise is costume/stage/fantasy makeup application. Just one quick stop in their make-up chair will give you that beautiful, ethereal looking, white skinned sparkley vampire look for a nominal fee. The cut-off date to book your discount hotel room rate by is February 2, 2009. However we suggest that you book your hotel rooms as early as possible, since the hotel may sell out prior to that.
