Chicago local Stella Katsoudas of Sister Soleil  has a killer song called Killer and a Queen on the new Underworld: Awakening Soundtrack available NOW!  New songs and Renholder remixes from bands like Combichrist, Ministry, The Cure, Evanescence, William Control, Lacuna Coil and more.  I was pleased to host a promo party for the release of the movie recently where I got to meet the band and dance to other tracks by Sister Soleil.  A great time was had by all and they are all so sweet and down to earth.  So, support your local Chicago musicians and BUY the soundtrack or the single!  The soundtrack has jumped to #2 on iTunes soundtrack sales and I have been enjoying it ever since!

THIS Tuesday, January 10th  come out for the Screen Gems Official Underworld: Awakening Full Moon promo party at Late Bar Chicago hosted by Lady~A’s Vampire Social Club!  Kick off is at 10pm, 21+.  No cover.   Movie swag and official press to drum up excitement for the latest in the Underworld movie franchise with the return of Kate Beckinsale reprising her role as Selene.  Get your best vamp on after work and come dance in the dark with the children of the night and stay for a bite to drink  and bark at the moon! This program explores the seductive power of the vampire image and the attraction so many people have to it. The slide presentation reveals the allure of the vampire in folklore and popular culture, and its unearthly aspects of mystery, danger, surrender, and dark romance. The vampire is the demon lover, the dark archetype, the shadow self that lures us into the night. Supernatural beliefs about blood are also covered, along with occult topics of astral vampirism, psychic vampires, and human vampires. The class will conclude with a guided fantasy visualization for those who wish to experience the nocturnal realms of these otherworldly creatures.

This is a completely different program from the one Mr. Riccardo gives at libraries.
